Tertiary Students Peer Education Training

Peer education training to a random sampling of tertiary students from Great Zimbabwe University, Masvingo poly technical college, Masvingo Urban Vocational training Centre and Masvingo teachers College.

Topic covered condom programming, Assertiveness ,saferSex,TBand HIV topics how it is transmitted,progression and family planning .

we urged peer educators to provide proper counseling to their peers and not to judgethem. We trained them to visit the youth friendly corners at general hospital ,ZNFPC and at their health facilities at college sclinic

Health and safety day started by sweeping Herbert Chitepo street and then gathered at ZCTU building and SGDZTgive solidarity message on the importance of health and safety to both employers and employees.Employers should do assessments at their institutions before operation in their workplace and recruiting their workers.This marked as we commemorate the lives of the 427mines that had perished at Hwange colliary on the 6th of june 1972and this marked as a health and safety in Zimbabwe

The Masvingo Rural Tsungai A-E support groups trained by Chipiwa Mugabe in economic empowerment gathered on the 3rd of December celebrating the community ownership that they received through economic empowerment. This is marked the human rights based response being into practice since the people from Zano area ward 14 of chief CHIKWANDA managed to continue participating in bringing quality life through” Mukando” ISAL that they had been taught two years back

Self- help projects to breakdown cycle of poverty. The issue of in cooperate the stakeholders such as health practitioners, community leaders like head man Chikwanda witnessed the day and hand over the goods to the people in their  community.
